Editor
Assemble clips, adjust timing, add audio, and export your film.
Open the Editor tab when you have clips or other media ready to cut. The preview shows the current frame; the timeline controls the order and timing of the film.
Build the timeline
On an empty timeline, click Assemble clips to add available project videos in storyboard order. You can also add files from the media panel or use Use in timeline on the Media page.
Adjust the cut
- Move clips to change their order or start time.
- Drag a clip's edges to trim it, or use Split clip at the playhead.
- Select a clip to edit its properties in the inspector.
- Add dialogue, music, or other audio and adjust its placement on the timeline.
Play through transitions and listen for clipped dialogue or overlapping audio. If you generate a replacement on the Board, check the version used in the timeline before exporting.
Export all or part of the film
Click Export to review the output size, duration, and export checks. Resolve any listed errors, then start the render.
To export a section, set the timeline's in and out points with I and O. Choose Export whole film in the export panel to clear that range.
