Media
Every file this project has generated or you have imported, in one place.
The Media tab is the project's own library. Everything the film generates lands here automatically — start frames, clips, portraits, reference plates and dialogue audio — alongside anything you import yourself.
Finding something
The column on the left narrows the wall four different ways, and they stack:
- Type — video, images, or audio.
- Source — generated by the project, or imported by you.
- Scenes — media made for one scene, in script order.
- Folders — your own filing, for imported files.
Search runs across filenames, prompts, models and scene names, so "cockpit" finds the frames of a cockpit even when nothing is called that.
Reading the wall
Tiles keep their real shape: a vertical clip stays vertical, a wide plate stays wide. Nothing is cropped to a square, because the point of the wall is judging what you already have. Use S / M / L to trade detail for overview.
Working with a selection
Click a tile to open it full screen; arrow keys walk the wall from there. Tick the corner of a tile to build a selection, and the bar along the bottom tells you how many files and how much they weigh, then offers the four things worth doing to several files at once:
- Add to folder — file them together.
- Download — pull them onto your machine.
- Use in timeline — send them to the editor, appended in order.
- Delete — remove imported files for good.
Generated media cannot be deleted from here; it belongs to the scene or element that made it.
Importing
Import takes single files or a whole folder. A folder arrives as a folder, keeping the name it had on your machine. Imports count against your workspace's upload storage; generated media does not.
