Script

Open the Script tab to read or revise your screenplay. The script and board share the same scene data, so text changes appear in both places.

Edit the screenplay

Click a scene heading, action line, or line of dialogue to edit it. Assign speakers to dialogue so Sundream can use the right character voice later. Select a scene to adjust its location and direction in the inspector.

Changes save automatically. Check the save indicator before closing the project, especially if your connection has dropped.

Ask for a rewrite

Use the script's rewrite control or open the assistant from the bot icon in the top bar. Describe the change you want, for example:

Shorten the opening scene to ten seconds. Keep the last line of dialogue.

Review the result before generating new media. Changing the script does not regenerate existing images or clips.

Write for the screen

• Give each scene a clear location and time of day, such as EXT. HARBOR — NIGHT.
• Describe visible action: “She folds the letter and puts it away” gives a scene more to show than “She feels conflicted.”
• Keep dialogue short enough for the scene's duration. You can adjust the timing and framing on the Board.
